Today, Learning Chinese Goes Beyond Just
Memorisation. It's Important to Make It Fun &
Interactive So Students Will Develop a Strong Interest for Chinese.
We've designed our classes differently so kids enjoy and look forward to classes
instead of feeling dreadful.We adopt an I-S-W teaching methodology:
Interactive Activities: When it comes to learning Chinese, we recognise that it's important to have engaging classes. Students will enjoy learning while they are in the process of trying to improve their speaking or writing.
During classes, we use games, question and answer activities and other activities that create healthy competition amongst students in class. You'll be surprised at how much it'll accelerate their improvement by making the learning experience lively.
Speaking: Your child’s Chinese speaking ability significantly affects their writing. Children tend to write what they speak.
Therefore, students will participate in story-telling which will help them to strengthen their Chinese sentence structure and speaking confidence. By reinforcing their speaking sentence structure, it'll also positively influence the way they write.
Also, to further grow their speaking confidence, students will be involved with interactive conversations with other students in class. These are activities that can never be done in a private 1-on-1 tuition environment.
All these speaking activities will also help students to score well for listening comprehension and the oral examination.
Writing & Reading: We teach students specific writing techniques that they can use to write fluently during test papers or major exams. Students will also be taught techniques to help them to remember Chinese words and idioms easily.
They will learn about the association or visualisation technique in order to help them remember Chinese characters. As they find it easier to remember Chinese words, they will also find it much easier to write them out during examinations.
